wonderful tour and true skip the line access to some of the most important monuments in Rome. After an incredible vacation, my kids (teens) still listed being inside of the Colosseum as the highlight of their trip to Italy. The Roman Forum is simply something you cannot do without a knowledgable guide and ours was plenty knowledgable, fun and seemed to genuinely love doing what she does for a living and that was evident in her presentations, knowledge and accessibility to the people in the group.

If you have limited time, the skip the line is the way to go. Lots of walking, however, tour guide did it at a very reasonable pace. Make sure you have headgear & water if a hot day. Very informative.

When we arrived at the meeting point I couldn't believe all the people there. However, It was done in a well organized manner. The line moved quickly and we were put with our guide, Angela. What a charming, knowledgeable woman, with a great sense of humor to boot! We passed through easily and to the right of us, the line of people seemed to go on forever. the tour is worth it just to avoid the lines, but the information given made the tour exceptional!

This is the first time I've used this service. I wanted to make sure I have some outings booked for when I go to Rome. I found your company on the website and found it easy to use with very good prices. It's my first time abroad and I just wanted to make things easier for myself. In doing this I think I have. I will be using your services again. I'm sure in May when I have my tour I will be pleased with the service. Thank you for making it easy. I will be recommending you.

I was overwhelmed with awe & humbleness. Our tour guide was really great & I would recommend her. I believe her name was Rossana. She had such a passion for her city and the ruins. She studies archeology in school so the insight & passion she brought with her made the experience extra special!

The tour was educational. I liked the tour guide mostly because he answered every question asked in English so that other people in the tour can understand. His English was very good and explanation was good and enjoyable.

We chose to do the 3pm tour and our guide, Elisa, began at the Forum. She had us enthralled with her desc<x>ription of the history of Rome and how the Romans lived. Her enthusiasm was infectious and her knowledge seemed to be endless. We finished at the Colosseum more than satisfied with the experience.

Davide, our guide, was friendly, informative, very knowledgeable and fun! He gave us history and insight during our tour that we never would have gotten on our own and was open to any and all questions and always had the answers. This was our first booking of an organized tour and we will certainly use City Discovery again. Thanks Davide for a wonderful tour!

Our guide Julia was really informative and made it easy to imagine the area as it would have been in its heyday. Her background in archaelogy gave us a more indepth picture of the buildings and lifest<x>yles of the ancient Romans. She was thoughtful as to when the group needed to rest from the sun for a few minutes and made sure that everyone stayed together. Recommend this tour :) thankyou Julia.

The only way to visit the Vatican and/or surrounding attractions. The tour guide was amazing and without her we would have wondered and would never have learned about the rich history of the church and its artists. Money well spent.

We had a tour to the Vatican day before with City Discovery and it was superb and was looking forward to Colosseum .It was very busy but it just felt a bit rushed unlike the Vatican trip
and really understand what the lady was saying due to her accent .We hardly spent any time in the Colosseum before moving to palatine hill after tour we asked if we could go back to Colosseum with our tickets and it was not possible ?? We are planning another trip and will try again Amazing place just did not see enough of it !!

The afternoon we took this tour the city had a torrential rainstorm and thunderstorm for about 45 minutes - our guide, Sarah, made the best of a bad situation. There was an exhibit at the colosseum which she guided us through in lieu of being able to tour the colloseum. She was a student of archeology and in the exhibit her team assisted in the recovery of some of the artifacts on display. She was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Although we were not able to see everything on our tour because of the weather - she really did make the best of a bad situation. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase sightseeing on their own and skip the line is a worthwhile investment!!!

The tour guide we received was passionate about what she was guiding. This passion spread out and touched every one of us in the tour. We listened with interest and enthusiasm and learned many interesting facts that we would have never known otherwise. It's a long tour but it is definitely worth the time invested. The other tour guides seemed friendly and approachable and they definitely took into consideration how their customers were feeling and addressed any concerns or queries immediately. A definite learning experience that was absolutely worth the time and the money.
