City Discovery made it so easy the guide was very Knowledgeable, without the guide we would have missed so much. We will definitely use them again. Be sure to take a good camera with a fully charged battery and plenty of water. There is not anywhere to stop and get a drink.

we had a great tour in one of the hottest day
it was too full in the Vatican Museums, but we had Franceska our best guide that took care of everything and smoothly walk with us trough.
Franceska gave us many explanations about all the monuments . she has great knowledge and great passion for the Roman history.
I warmly recommend !

It was an unforgettable experience to get to know Vatican City and all its wonders with Gigi as our tour guide. Gigi kept us all engaged from which it never left us bored. Moreover, skipping the very long line- definitely worth every penny!

This is the first time I've used CityDiscovery, and came across it while surfing the net, I ended up booking airport transfer and two tours. My experience of all three bookings were excellent and I will most certainly use them again. The guide on this particular tour was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. The tour was well run and made for a pleasing introduction to the areas leaving us with the desire to visit again for a longer period, ideally with the same guide. An excellent tour, easily booked and professional in every aspect.

Thank you for your tour as it helped in getting into the Vatican. Way too many people in the Vatican to really enjoy the complete tour, but I am glad that I went & glad that I went with City Discovery.

July is extremely busy and we were herded through the museum in record time. I spent way too much time keeping up with the group and very little time taking in the sights. However, the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and stopped to explain several interesting points throughout the museum. There was ample time allowed to spend gazing up at the Sistine Chapel. After this, we were escorted to St. Peter's Basilica. One of our group complained about that fact that we were over our time limit (she had another tour booked) and the tour guide was obliged to rush us through St. Peter's Basilica in about 10 minutes. Hence, my husband and I (having the Omnia Pass) went back on our own time and were able to see and learn about St. Peter's in a more leisurely fashion.

The Museum, Chapel and Raphael's Room were amazing however the tour was terrible. WE asked for English tour guide. Our guide did not speak good English. She was sick and we felt like tere was no effort in the tour. She walked ahead of the group and many of us could not reception n our head phones. We ended up leaving early as we could hear anyway. Very disappointing.

It would be hard to go to Vatican City and not get a tour of the museums and see the Sistine Chapel. Sadly, our tour of St. Peter's was cancelled due to a local event, but the remaining portions of the tour did not disappoint. The guide (David) was friendly, knowledgeable and very charming and funny. Seeing the lines outside the museums gave total justification for a skip the line tour, and that's not factoring in how enjoyable and informative the tour was.

We had no time to wait around to get in, thus the skip line was great. The tour was very interesting and informative. Liked that the guide ended tour inside St Peter's Basilica, allowing us more time to explore inside of Basilica.

I cannot recommend this tour enough, no way we would have gleaned all the amazing information and wee witty details that Annalise gave us with such enthusiasm and wit. She answered questions that I am sure she will have heard time and time again as if it was the first time she had ever been asked them. We loved the fact that by wearing the headphones we were able to not worry about falling behind too much. St Peters Basilica was part of the tour but as the Pope was ordaining Cardinals we were unable to go in with Annalise, she did however give us lots of information and we waited on after the tour and went in ourselves..still great not it would have been even better as part of the tour. 10 out of 10 Annalise

We really liked what we saw. The tour guide was great however talked way too much. The information could be delivered in a more concise way, but the guide repeated herself a lot. This meant that by the time we got to St Peters Basilica it was almost dark and the inside of the dome could not be seen as no daylight was coming through anymore.

The directions to the meeting place for this tour are not explicit enough.
The vatican museum is dissapointing. No real treasures and many mutilated statues. The Sistine chapel is packed with tourists and guards calling for Silencio. Look but don't discuss it with your wife!!
St. Peters, a massive memorial to dead Popes.
