The boat was easy to find, right out the front of Duke's.
The boarding into the boat was relatively easy, there's stairs that come down from the centre of the boat that you climb up. We did get wet leaving the boat but that was okay!
We cruised around to where the fireworks happen and had a great view.
The time went so quickly!

Dan very calmly and kindly took him under his wing. Before we knew it, my son was the leader of the pack! I even got a little seasick and Dan (without judgment) helped me back to the beach to rest. He also picked us up at our hotel and was so easy to talk to and open to any questions we had. I would 100% do this tour again! Thanks Dan!

One of the guides was in the water pointing out the turtles and all the fish. It was easy to float and snorkel. The boat was easy to find and the drinks were great! 女将さんからいろいろなお話を聞いたり、写真も沢山撮らせていただいたり、満足です。
担当してくれた舞妓さんはまだ新人さんということで非常に初々しく、質問にも一生懸命答えてくれました。ただ、こちらからどんどん質問しないと向こうからは全く話を振ってくれないので、聞きたいことが思いつかなくなったときにちょいちょい沈黙が生じるのが少し気まずかったです。

飽きることなく、最初から最後まで楽しかったです！
ただ休憩とかはないので、体力はいるかも、、。
（もちろんガイドの方が、厳しくなったら一緒に浜に行って、そこからは休憩してくださいとは言ってくれますが）
英語苦手とか不安がある方は、このプランは絶対おすすめです！

Only thing I was not happy about was the life guard told us to remove the flippers while the tide pulling us away. Mad it pretty hard to swim to the boat. I'm a decently strong swimmer and I barely made it. Besides that great experience

舞妓さんの立ち振る舞いが本当に美しく見惚れた一方で、気さくに質疑応答に応じてくださったり、2歳の息子に対して優しく話しかけてくださったりと感激でした。お座敷遊びも楽しかったです。
また、玄関で迎えてくださった置屋の女将さんが英語がペレペラで通訳の手間が省けたのも大変助かりました。
日本人でも舞妓さんの舞を鑑賞することはもちろん、直接お話する機会なんてそうないので、日本人の私、一緒に来ていた私の母、姉もとても楽しむことができました。

Kyoto Private Kaiseki Dinner at Traditional Restaurant with Maiko Dance Show
An experience of a life-time!
Reviewed by: M.H.S., 2024/05/27We went into it without prior knowledge of the venue, the actual setup or the details of the experience, and i was at awe of the arrangement and the experience, truly a once of a life-time experience you cannot miss if you plan to visit Kyoto!
The venue was superb, the restaurant being reserved solely for us, a genuinely private experience. However, I have to note that the initially, it wasn't a pleasant start due to a misunderstanding by the host restaurant staff. As the lead of the group I approached the front door of the venue, only to be shouted at by an elderly male saying that this is private and i have to leave. I tried to approach him to show him my reservation as i was trying to explain that we are the ones who booked the venue but his attitude got more aggressive and did not want to hear anything i had to say. I was not going to start the experience with conflict so i left and got in touch with the emergency number on the voucher, who immediately resolved the issue and the man later apologized for his behavior. I understand that tourist have been a bit of a hassle lately for Kyoto and hence do not take it personally, however for future reservations, please note of this and don't let it ruin your day.
As for the main experience, there are no words to summarize how magical, pleasant and lovely the rest of the evening was. The translator, an expert in Geisha Tradition was superb, providing us with a detailed history of the tradition and guiding us on how to enjoy the experience as it plays out. The shimasen, Gecko, Geisha and Maikos made us feel like honorary guests and provided us with the most authentic and personal experience we have ever enjoyed, a lovely mix of dance, song, food, entertainment and conversation. Although i say it is a once in a life-time experience, i will definitely book when i visit the country again!

念願のハナウマ湾シュノーケル❗️
Reviewed by: fumiko, 2024/05/18念願のハナウマ湾シュノーケルが出来て最高でした❗️早朝は雨模様だったのですが、現場に到着する頃には雨もやみ、だんだん明るい空になってきて、シュノーケルの後半には綺麗な青空が‼️
水の中にも光がさしてきて、色とりどりの、大小さまざまな魚がたくさん見れて大満足でした！
亀は残念ながら探し出せませんでしたが、大きなアザラシがビーチの上にドーンと寝転んでいたのにはびっくり‼️魚もそうですが、アザラシも全く人を警戒していないのは素晴らしいことだと思いました。
日頃からハワイの方々の動物愛護の精神が徹底されているからこそでしょう！
ガイドのお二人もとても親切で安心して過ごすことが出来ました！ありがとうございました。

Not worth it
Reviewed by: Neil, 2024/05/07Very limited instruction was given into how to use the mask and snorkel. Mine was all twisted up and none of the staff provided any assistance.
The reef area is choppy and murky making it very difficult to see. There were 4 other boats there so the area was quite crowded. We saw 1 turtle and a few fish. Pretty disappointing.
If you are looking for a magical reef experience then I suggest go somewhere else like the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Back on the boat we were offered 1 drink only even though the tour says 3 alcoholic drinks are provided.
Wouldn't recommend.

Amazing experience

Excellent snorkeling experience

He took care of collecting all of our gear needed for snorkeling and had wet suits to rent if needed. Dan gave great instructions/tips to the group on how to snorkel. Dan and his partner then took us throughout the bay to the best sites to see the tropical fish. He even took pictures for us! I highly recommend this tour! It is an experience we won’t forget!
