Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Haenggung Palace Tour from Seoul with Hotel Pick-Up

Scientifically constructed out of bricks and stone, the defensive wall remains 75% intact despite numerous invasions and wars in Korea over the past century. The structure includes a variety of military facets such as turrets, floodgates, and sentry towers.

Hwaseong Haenggung Palace
A Haenggung is a temporary retreat located outside the capital where the King and the royal family would find refuge during the war. King Jeonjeo would visit the Hwaseong Haenggung to worship his father's tomb and allowed him to continue safely running the country at a time of military conflict. A large feast was also held in celebration of his mother's 60th birthday.

The palace is now used as a venue for cultural performances and activities, and even shooting locations for Korean dramas and films.
