Horse Back Riding Adventures in Yatsugatake

It was a very nice experience! I hadn't ridden a horse for a long time before I came to Yatsugatake, so it was like a new start for me. I speak some Japanese, but sometimes it was hard to understand explanations. Luckily, my instructor was very friendly and patient and always found other ways to explain rules or showed me an example. I was very grateful for that! The only thing that I felt the experience lacked was some freedom. My horse always followed the instructor, so I was feeling more like sitting on it, not really riding (and controlling) it. But it may be due to my beginner level. I cannot really tell. Anyway, I was quite satisfied! P.S. It was also very kind of the instructor to give me a lift to the station as the place is rather far, and I found it difficult to get to the venue in the morning (I walked all the way there).
