We were too late when trying to purchase Ghibli tickets directly, so we opted to go on this walking tour in order to attend while we were in Tokyo.
While we weren't initially looking forward to the walking tour, we were pleasantly surprised! We learned a thing or two, increased our luck with money, and the tour guides were absolutely delightful.
The tour itself is very short, but the best part is the timing - you get into the museum pretty much as it opens (before the crowds roll in) and you can roam around at your leisure. So you will have time to see everything before everyone else gets there.
Highly recommended!!

I enjoyed the Walking tour over the Inokashira Park, the guides were kind and took care of every member of the tour.
During the walk, we would stop at certain points and the guides would give a brief summary of the place and its history, which is a nice touch.
I appreciated that the guides were not just following the motions and doing "their job", but also injected personality and humor to the tour.
Entry to the Ghibli museum was easy, and we were provided instructions on how to go back to the station by bus as well, for those that didnt wish to go back to the park.
Overall, I would recommend the tour to others.

Exactly as it says, this tour is a convenient way into the museum if you weren't lucky to grab the online tickets when they were being sold. The tour guide spoke English and lead us all the way to the Museum(which is a fair distance from Kichijoji Station) and we were allowed to browse inside the museum for as long as we wanted. Just remember to bring comfortable shoes and maybe pack a lunch because the Strawhat Cafe will probably be packed. You also get the fancy commemorative Ghibli film reel ticket too!

This was one of the most perfectly organised trips I've been on.
Everything was so smooth and easy... Kudos to the team.
The museum is a delight to be in and definitely worth it for all Ghibli fans. It truly feels magical
I would recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes for the 30 minute walk through the park.

We had a great walk with our guides who were really energetic and informative! We enjoyed learning about Inokashira Park, and since we weren’t able to get Ghibli Museum tickets through Lawson, this tour package option was amazing. This package is a great price and experience.

The tour guide was very courteous and helpful. We woke up late that morning but were still accommodated in the tour. The museum is worth visiting especially for kids. There is something for everyone with interesting interior and exhibition. The park around the museum is nice as well with many maple trees changing colours in the autumn.

If you’re like me and had no idea you had to get the tickets for studio ghilbi right when they release it a month in advance and miss the normal prices tickets, these were the next best options that was sill within budget. The tour was nice since they would tell us some facts at certain parts of the tour and I probably would have skipped the park otherwise. Overall definitely would recommend if you can’t get normal price tickets!

Our tour guides were very lovely and nice. We had a nice tour of Inokashira Park first, which was a nice prep for the Ghibli museum. The walk from the subway station to the park, then the museum took around an hour or so, but it was nice and slow stroll. Definitely would recommend this tour!

When I booked the tour I was a little worried about it being fake considering how many fake tours are organized for Ghibli. But I really wanted to go to the museum since I had failed to procure the tickets online. I not only saw the museum but also appreciated the way to it a little more. Our guide was extremely patient and guided us around the park to the museum. Absolutely hassle free. Would recommend if you too need to get inside the museum.

If you or your kids like Studio Ghibli, then this is definitely a place to visit! We met our tour at the Keio Plaza Hotel, checked in and jumped on the bus. The tour operator was awesome. She gave a lot of info about what we would see at the museum and gave us a suggested itinerary since we had a limited amount of time. She also made sure everyone knew how to catch the bus to the train station, how much it cost, and how to get all the way back to Shinjuku station. She also toured us around the outside of the museum as well as gave us direction on where we could take pics and where it was prohibited. The staff at Ghibli was amazing as well! After reporting a lost jacket, the staff took less than ten minutes to locate it and return it to us. This is definitely a worthwhile tour.

The tour was great, good options and great guide. Half a day was right length of time. As a ghibli fan I had heard all about it, so knew what to expect. A bit disappointed that as adults you couldn't even go near the catbus or have a pic as a consolation prize. But it was a fun time in the wacky mind of miazacki. And the short was beautiful.
