It's hard to squeeze everything in that you want to do so i understand the short time allotted for each location. It was a good mixture of sights and history. Japan is just full of beautiful places! Thank you helping us get to see more of it then we could on our own.
The price for the tour is beyond reasonable. It is worth so much more. I highly recommend taking a tour with this company.

The visit to the Tokyo skytree was easy - no waiting in line, Norikosan purchased the tickets and fast tracked our group.
Odaiba's giant robot - she knew that the best time to see this was in the evening and Norikosan made sure that we arrived just as the show was starting - made my day
Veltra have a great team on the ground in Japan.

Good experience and friendly tour guides.
Reviewed by: Dean. , 2018/10/29We enjoyed our full day tour. It gave us a feel for the city and met our expectations for a reasonably priced tour experience.
Lunch was quite good and there was plenty to eat. We got on the bus at 8am and the lunch stop was after 1pm, so I’d recommend taking snacks to keep you going.
The bus pulled-up in a couple of awkward places, making it difficult for some of passengers to get on and off at destinations.
Overall though, I’d recommend it.

The afternoon tour was very unorganized and rushed. Tour guide English was average talked muffled into microphone and did not keep the group together would walk a few steps stop and wait for everyone very disappointing! Also return service to hotel is long and exhausting!

Tour of Tokyo with Tom was one of the highlights of our Japan trip

He picked us up at the cruise port right on time and showed us as many highlights of Tokyo as we had time for, and we loved them all. We saw a really nice variety of Buddhist temple, Shinto shrine, Imperial palace as well as more modern shopping and government districts. We had a great driver too who dropped us off close to whereever we were going. Tom was flexible about our needs. We requested one of the department store food halls for lunch, and he took us to a great one and found a nice rooftop area for us to eat at. It was so fun to have Tom guide us through the hall and explain the food to us. After the trip, Tom sent us all pictures and a journal of the day—so thoughtful! We loved Tokyo and Tom and can’t wait to return and schedule more tours with him!

Great experience!
Reviewed by: Solo Traveler , 2018/09/25I felt a bit cheesy having to book a tour to see places on Tokyo that you could just take the train to go see, but it was worth it. Our tour guide was down to earth and knowledable. Learned a lot about Japan while on the tour, as well as enjoyed being stress free with being on a bus rather than navigate the city myself. No one batted an eye when I ordered wine with my lunch, and others even joined. Would recommend. Get the skytree tower included, as it was amazing to see once up there.

We had the best day.

Good tour with very sweet, knowledgeable, friendly guide but some outdated/misleading information on the website regarding what you see/partake in
Reviewed by: nippondisuki, 2018/06/29My mom and I were at the meeting location 10 min before check in time (as stated to do so on the itinerary) and the bus/your guide didn’t arrive until about 15min past our check in time which caused us to stress thinking we were in the wrong spot and potentially missed the tour. When the tour guide did show up she didn’t really say anything just promptly motioned for us to follow her to the bus. Our tour guide was very sweet and knowledgeable. She was very clear with directions and meet up times. Some things I found misleading (besides the pick up time) were regarding the Imperial Palace and the “lunch buffet”. When we visited the Imperial Grounds, we didn’t get to see anything other than a very small garden a few steps into the grounds. I know not all areas are accessible to the public or all year round but we saw more of the Palace by briefly driving by in the bus which was unfortunate. Secondly, the lunch we were provided was not a buffet. We all chose between grilled salmon, grilled chicken or a vegetarian dish with two pieces of steamed carrot/broccoli/potato a small cup of vegetable soup and two small (dry/hard) buns :( when I asked the guide if we were able to get the buffet lunch as I referred her to the online day plan she said, “oh that information is very old”. The view from the restaurant was amazing and enough to make up for it but it was a little disappointing when I was expecting to have access to more of a variety. Overall, it was a good way to see some amazing/beautiful parts of Tokyo with added guidance and transportation but I suggest the website be updated to avoid further frustration from customers expecting what they signed up for.

Yanaka Cultural Walking Tour with Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street & Nezu Shrine
Well worth the value for this tour

Our guide even was very agreeable to help us purchase products during our stops into shops/bakeries/boutiques along the way. The time went by so quickly I was sad that it was over. Her knowledge of English was superb!

Awesome walking tour - with Yoshi as a guide!

Though it was traditional but it was yukk.
We got some pastry n coffee to fill our tummy afterwards as we were hungry since morning and got to have this lunch which we couldn’t eat.
Hope to have some room of improvement for food in coming trips.

Would suggest morning tour seemed better value scenic wise.
Traveled to Nikko today and difference in guides english was like night and day.

Tokyo Afternoon Bus Tour to Tokyo Tower and Asakusa with Sumida River Cruise
Perfect tour if you only have a few days in Tokyo.
Reviewed by: ElsaBruce, 2018/05/21We booked this tour because we knew we wouldn't get to see everything we wanted to while in Tokyo. We flew in from Canada on the Sunday afternoon and this tour was perfect with a starting time of 12:30 on the Monday. The pick-up point was easy to access from the subway. We came back to a delightful tour guide who loves his city. He started with the escalator up to the top of the world trade tower that we met in, and then we headed to the Emperor's palace garden. Our guide was interesting, had great stories to share, and spoke English very well. We then headed to the shrine and the bazar or market place that leads to the shrine. Our guide made sure we understood all the acceptable behavior when going through the area, things like the fact that you can buy all sorts of tempting street food, but it is considered bad manners to walk and eat at the same time. Sounds silly but very glad he shared things like that with us. After a great hour at the shrine we headed to the river port meeting point just a block away and took a tour down the river. We wished our guide had kept us together as a group because his knowledge would have been handy as to what we were passing along the river. The boat's public announcement system wasn't great. Back in the safe hands of our guide, we continued on our tour and as we neared the end, he checked to see who was getting off at each of the two drop offs and made sure we all knew where we were going and how to get there efficiently. I have limited mobility and walk with a cane. This tour was very doable for me. Our only recommendation to Veltra would be to invest in over-the-ear microphones for your guides. They are assisting the bus driver as he navigates the streets of Tokyo, as well as using both hands to show maps, photos, and brochures. So, balancing the microphone and making sure he was speaking into it didn't always happen. This was a great tour of a beautiful city and we would do it again when we visit Tokyo next.

Grand Tour of Tokyo
Reviewed by: Brighton, 2018/05/06The tour was well worth the money. Yoshi was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. All the places seen were very good (pity blossom had come early so did not see a grand display). Although the azaleas were very colourful.
The tower was very good and the views from the top excellent. Imperial Palace gardens and other gardens were colourful.
A wonderful excursion I would recommend.
