Mt. Fuji Tour from Tokyo with Lake Kawaguchi, Oshino Hakkai & Ninja Village

A wonderful day trip to Mt.fuji

Reviewed by: Sophia, 2016/03/17

The guide was very helpful and spoke perfect English. Although I could not see Mt. fuji due to the bad weather, the service was really good and we had yum traditional Japanese lunch. And the last section 'Fuji Airways' was a big surprise, i have never expected it could be that awesome! I think i will definitely join this tour again in a nice weather day^^

Wonderful Mt.fuji tour!

Reviewed by: Mamayaya, 2016/02/23

This was my first time going to Mt.fuji, we departed from Shinjuku, the meeting place was easy to find (even for someone who doesn't know Japanese). We arrived at the fifth station at around 11:30, the bus was comfortable so I was basically sleeping all the way to Mt. fuji. The weather was really nice, so I could clearly see Mt.fuji, lucky haha! We had an English speaking guide on that day, she is very kind and can speak good English. I am planning to go Mt. fuji again sometime during the autumn, and will definitely join this tour again!!

Mt. Fuji Tour with Lake Ashi Cruise and Ropeway Ride from Shinjuku or Shibuya

Lots of opportunities to see great views of Fuji

Reviewed by: Monika, 2016/01/25

This tour will offer you loads of opportunities to see Mt. Fuji, and in a clear weather you should be able to enjoy magnificent views. On the day I went the weather was not perfect but still managed to catch a few glimpses of the mountain.

According to our guide we were very lucky to be able to go to the 5th Station, as in winter the road is often closed due to the snow fall. At the 5th station you can admire the panoramic view of the 'Japanese Alps' and of course the top of Fuji itself. There is also a big souvenir shop where you can get some nice gifts or a snack (try Fuji-shaped melon pan!).

After that we were transferred to the restaurant for lunch - it was a Japanese style meal and really delicious! People who didn't book lunch had some free time to eat their own lunch or buy something at the spot (there was a small bakery).

Our next stop was Hakone and a picturesque Ashi lake cruise to the reopeway station. I imagine that on a clear day the view from the ropeway would be amazing, but during our trip we were welcomed by a little snow storm, so we couldn't see much. Mt. Komagatake however was really great, really enjoyed a short hike to the shrine at the top.

The guide was super nice, kept us entertained on the us and provided some interesting information as well.

Overall it was a very nice tour and well organised tour and despite of the fact that the weather was not perfect, it was a nice day out of Tokyo.

  • Fuji 5th Station

  • Lake Ashi cruise

  • Shrine at the top of Mt. Komagatake

  • Fuji-shaped melon pan

  • View from the 5th station

Mt. Fuji Tour with Lake Ashi Cruise and Ropeway Ride from Asakusa or Ginza

Reviewed by: Deolinda, 2016/01/19

We loved it our guide Mr Hiro is amazing he really knows what he is talking about. The bus is comfortable and has wifi. The sight seeing of the mount is great but on the afternoon when you do the cable car is quite difficult to see the mount because it is hiding in the clouds. The food is not amazing but it does the job. I strongly recommend this one day trip. Even on the high way before arriving the views are stunning.

Mt. Fuji and Aokigahara Adventure Tour from Tokyo

Wonderful Experience!

Reviewed by: TimmyJimmy, 2015/11/08

This tour was awesome. They picked us up at the hotel and after a couple more stops, we had a brief stop at a bus station where another bus took us up to Mt. Fuji. We speak almost no Japanese, but the tour guides we had spoke English well and were able to answer any questions we had.

It takes a while to get to Mt. Fuji from Tokyo (like 2.5 hours), but the tour guide made things interesting by talking about the history of Japan and Mt. Fuji. Would have been nice to have more time at the shops on Mt. Fuji, but I have to give them credit for keeping that many people (from all around the world) on schedule.

After a traditional Japanese lunch (included), we headed out with another tour guide for the forest/cave tour. At this point we split from the original group and joined a smaller group for caving. Again, the tour guide spoke English very well and was super nice/informative.

We would have liked to have seen more of Aokigahara Forest, but it was definitely cool. Super quiet and kind of spooky but more beautiful than anything else. The cave tour was also really neat. It was short but also my first time in a cave so it didn't bother me.

After a full day of exploring, we were given bus tickets and waited for a bus. The bus arrived n time but the ride was long and delayed due to traffic. The bus was not uncomfortable, but if you have a JR Rail pass, I would recommend finding a Shinkansen back to Tokyo to avoid traffic. Everything else on the tour was great!

Mt. Fuji Tour from Tokyo with Lake Ashi Cruise and Hakone Ropeway Ride

Very pleasant

Reviewed by: Colby, 2015/11/01

The day tour to Mt. Fuji was a nice change from the big city. We stayed in a hotel that was not on the pick up list in Tokyo but took the subway over to a hotel that was. The tour company then gave us a taxi to meet up with the rest of the group at the bus. Our tour guide was the best! She spoke very good English and her voice was so pleasant. Overall we were pleased with the tour. Unfortunately we went on the only day out of the week that it was cloudy and misty. So we went to Mt. Fuji but did not get to see Mt. Fuji! We took the bullet train back to Tokyo and that was fairly easy to navigate as well. Really wish we would have done the 2 day tour package but it was completely booked!
