Average for travel spots but good at customer handling

traveled with parents, personally the travel spots in the itinerary is just average for me. Anyway, would like to thank driver and tour guide as we needed to board Shinkansen at 8 pm so they really managed the time for us to catch up with the train.

I especially want thank Jojo who was very professional, personable and courteous. The trip to Mt Fuji was terrific but, especially terrific because of Jojo’s effervescence as Japanese cultural background Ambassador and delivered it with humor and kindness,

Pace of the tour was too fast.

The overall pace of the tour was too fast. Our time at the arakura sengen and oshino hakkai area was too short. We no longer had enough time to see the shops at Gotemba Outlet Store. Perhaps the tour duration should be extended to at least 10 hours. The bus should depart from Tokyo earlier so the group could have a better chance to see Mount Fuji earlier in the morning.

Tina, our accommodating tour guide spoke English clearly and audibly. The bus was fairly new and very tidy.

this is a great full day tour from tokyo, but was never a dull moment on the wholw trip. guide was informed, helpful , and very fun! ever stop was full of hstory and great views. mt. fuji was everything we hoped it woulf be. fun boat rides and the bullet train blow us away.

Disappointing scheduling

This tour is hugely dependent on the weather. On the day, it was rainy and foggy. That in itself was uncontrollable by those running the tour but what was disappointing was leaving the Gotemba Outlet at 15:30 to arrive back at Shinjuku at 17:00. The schedule stated two hours at the outlet and leaving there at 16:00. If the entire tour group didn't spend all that much time outdoors because of the weather wouldn't it make sense to spend the extra time at the outlet rather than arriving back in Shinjuku an hour early?! We were told there may be traffic on the way back but that hardly justifies getting back an hour early.

Amazing Mt. Fuji Trip!

I was very lucky that we had a clear day during our Mt. Fuji trip so the group I was with was able to do and visit all the attractions as stated on the description except that we were only able to visit 1st station since 4th and 5th station were closed due to heavy snow. It's not a big deal though as there are still lots of chances to see the magnificent Mt. Fuji on the way. If you're planning to visit Mt Fuji during winter, make sure to layer well since its colder there compared to the city. Expect as well a long travel time from Tokyo to Mt Fuji as it's roughly 139 km away. And lastly, I highly suggest to take the option with Bullet train as it will only take you 40 mins back to Tokyo compared to 2-3 hours travel back by bus.

FYI, the bus first row (left and right) are reserved for the guide and driver#2!

Wonderful Day Trip!

We were so excited to stumble across this tour, when we were looking for a guided trip to see Mount Fuji! It’s very budget friendly for a tour, and had us stopping at some really great spots, so we definitely felt like we were getting more than what we paid for (awesome photo ops!)

We were accommodated last minute and received confirmation immediately. Pick up/meet up location was easy to get to, and felt very safe during the drive.

Our guide was very helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. Overall wonderful experience! Highly recommend it!

The day at Mount Fuji was excellent. Everywhere the guide took us we could see the white snow top of Mount Fiji. It was -4C that clear and sunny morning, beautiful day to view Mount Fuji. Thank you.

Good itinerary, a lot to see in a day without getting rush. Only drawback is the guide announced 1 1/2 hour at gotemba that i have to show her that veltra is offering 2 hours in the outlet which the guide respectfully followed after we showed her the veltra site. Overall we were happy because it was a beautiful sunny day and we saw mt Fuji 100% clear.

Impressive and beautiful views of Mt Fuji!

The tour took us to great and memorable views of Fuji, but felt rushed and didn’t allow enough time to enjoy each attraction, and the 1-1/2 hour visit to the outlets is barely enough time to walk from the bus to the far end of the mall and back without even being able to stop at stores to shop. The itinerary said there would be 2-1/2 hours at the outlets. Also, the souvenir store at the beginning of the tour at Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park is by far the best, so buy your souvenirs there in addition to getting some good pictures.

Over all i like this tour very much, time for every site is good enough and not too rush. Our tour guide mr. Eric give brief information that really useful, informative and not too much. He also know very much all places that good for photo taking, since we'd love to take good pictures from all tourism object.

I like all site, the lake, the shrine and the village and also the shopping mall that we visited. this tour is very colourful tour. The bus driver also drive very smooth and good and drive safely.

This tour covers all the mandatory sights in and around Mount Fuji on a day trip from Tokyo. The guide was very helpful. If you have JR pass then you can take the shinkansen back to Tokyo else it is good idea to boom the tour with bullet train package. Food served during the tour was average. Overall a goos experience.

The first two stops were very good,however the last one it was a very random stop with nothing to see.
But I still recommend,we had a very good time and the guide was very nice and helpful!

Great trip. We were blessed with good weather allowing us to visit the 5th station and see Mt Fuji up close, and clear, although it is pretty cold up there (with the wind chill). Tour guide Yoshi is very professional, courteous, helpful all the way. He provided some good Japanese cultural and historical information which helped us to enjoy the tour even more. The Hakone ropeway ride and the Ashi cruise were also very enjoyable. The lunch was enjoyable. Everything in the trip was great. The drivers were safe & courteous. I couldn't ask for any more. Will definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Our tour guide Mr Tetsuya "Teddy" ISHIDA, and driver 林 were very punctual and very friendly. He speak good in mandarin and English.
This trip is completely tailored to suit our family of five (3, 9 and 12 year old)
We were all blown away with how well we all enjoyed our day trip. We managed to get some brilliant images of Mt. Fuji. Highly recommended- money well spent

Wonderful tour worth spending time

Booked package tour through veltra.com and immediately after online payment email confirmation received for tour details and pick up point. I found difficulty in locating pick up point, so advised travelers to have sufficient time margin in reaching pick up point, as bus departs on time without any further wait. Japanese people are very strict on time, so when they announce for time, be careful and return to bus before that time, otherwise you may miss the bus on any sightseeing point. Booked vegetarian food, but could not get anything there even salad was having meat. Alcohol are mixed in most food products. Vegetarian are advised not to book food in package. Better to carry your own food as alternate food availability is also not there other than included in package. It was sunny day, hence could see Mt Fuji amazing views and it made our day. 5th station was closed due to snow fall, hence we returned from 1st station. Only 10 min was given at first station, which was most beautiful place in entire trip and this was negative. Lot of time spent for lunch which was not necessary. Cruise trip was in dark, so it was just a boating, could not see the beauty around mountain. Return ticket for bullet train was given in bus and highly recommended due to heavy traffic jam during return trip. It took only 35 min to reach Tokiyo instead of 2.5-4 hrs in bus. Overall package cost was more, however tour is worth due to natural beauty. Lady guide was fluent in English and coordinated well the entire trip, except for time management. Recommend every traveler to visit Mount Fuji, it is must tour if you are in Tokiyo. You can leave Tokiyo city tour, if time does not permit but Mt Fuji tour is must, if whether permits.

Good day trip from Tokyo

Good day activity out of Tokyo. Not too strenuous for elderly yet get to see mt fuji and enjoy hakone! Lunch was good too. Only set back was controlling the other people on the tour. With each stop being 5-10mins late, we ended up being half hour late for last activity which was the lake ashi cruise and being late autumn/early winter, the sky was dark and we couldn't see anything! And because it was late we decided to take the bullet train back to tokyo which cost extra. Overall, a good day tour!

Long day in foggy rainy Mt Fuji

The guide was very good and informative. However, Mt Fuji was completely fogged in (even it was hard to see the shops at the 5th station in the fog), and it was rainy, foggy for all of the other sites. The lunch was great, though, and it was a nice day to get out of the city into the countryside. Because pretty much all of the sites were not visible I would have hoped that this tour be rescheduled (the following day was clear).

Both were great in providing the service, and the driver were really eager to make sure all of us had great time during that day. He also took us to very special place where we could enjoy watching Mount Fuji although the 5th station was closed due to slippery. Was such a great experience and service.

The trip was well organised only weather not so good. But I still get to view the snow covered Mount Fuji for a short well which last round I saw only black Mount Fuji.So it’s still a fantastic experience for me and my friend. Thank you and well book again next round I visit Japan.

Private Mt. Fuji Tour from Tokyo with Arakura Sengen Shrine & Fuji Five Lakes

Oh Darn, It Rained

We hoped to see Mt. Fuji, but, unfortunately, it rained the day of our booked tour and Mt. Fuji was not to be seen. But all was not lost. Our driver, Toshi, picked us up promptly at the scheduled time and drove us to the Mt. Fuji area. On the way he gave us information on local sites that we passed. Our guide, Yuko, was very knowledgeable and gave us options for our rainy day. Our driver and guide learned that we liked to hike so we went to a beautiful shrine at the base of Mt. Fuji and hiked on an ancient trail to the first station. A great way to experience Mt. Fuji on a rainy day. Yuko gave much information on local customs and the Shinto religion involving the mountain. We then had a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant. Following this, we chose to go to a museum featuring a world renowned textile artist who made kimono art. These were fabulous. It was then late in the day and we traveled back to Tokyo. A different experience than we hoped for due to the rain, but a memorable and enjoyable day thanks to Toshi and Yuko. We definitely recommend their services for guide and driver for the Mt. Fuji tour. They’re the best!
