Explanation of the history of hanging scrolls and today's itinerary (Duration 2.5 hours)
The instructor will explain the history and types of hanging scrolls (Kakejiku).
Try Your Hand at Basic Calligraphy and Sumi-e Painting
Practice writing calligraphy on washi paper and add a personal touch to your scroll. You can also bring your own items.
*Please note that this is not an advanced calligraphy course.
Urauchi backing
Using a brush, the backing is applied to the selected paper.
Finishing
Allow the backing to be dried and cut out the margins.
Choose a frame
You can choose your favorite magnetic tapestry "Magneppon" or authentic hanging scroll depending on your selected plan.
