The instructor will explain the history and types of hanging scrolls (Kakejiku).

Choose a calligraphy or painting to be used as a hanging scroll. You may also bring your own item.

Using a brush, the backing is applied to the selected paper.

Allow the backing to be dried and cut out the margins.
