指定ホテルよりバスに揺られて３０分程度、京都、高雄の川床へ
バスを降りた瞬間の幻想的な場所。まるで千と千尋の神隠しに出てきそうな場所です。
料理はセッティングされていたのですが・・・・
蓋を開けたら、お肉のすごいことすごいこと！！感激です。
食事も終盤にかかると舞妓さんの登場。ご挨拶が終わり各テーブルへ
今日の舞妓さんは、宮川町の君翔さんです。
話も終わりいよいよ踊りの披露、二舞してくれました。
非日常をありがとう。

10年以上前、『京都に行ったら1度舞妓さんを見てみたい、話してみたい』といっていた関東の人を連れて、２時間以内で体験できるコースに参加しました。初めて見る舞妓さんは『とても可愛かった。まさかの関東の人でびっくりした』と言っていました。こんぴらふねふねがとても気に入ったようです。
コロナ禍でドアが開けっ放しで暑かったこと、受付まで炎天下で待たなければいけなかったことが少し辛かったです。

夏らしい京都を感じたくネットで調べていたら、このサイトを見つけました。
京都市街地から約30分位かかりますがバス送迎あり、単独では行きづらいくらい山手の道も良くない場所なので楽でした。
また、川を目の前にした料理、舞妓さんとの会話、舞妓さんの踊りと予想以上に楽しめて本当に夏らしい京都を満喫して出来ました。

コロナの影響で当日は母娘2人の貸切り状態でした。かえって申し訳なく感じていたのですが、最高のおもてなしを受けました。中学を卒業したばかりの娘はこの旅行で一番の感動、嬉しかったようです。舞妓さんも可愛かったです。本当にありがとうございました。
料金もリーズナブルで、気負わずに体験できる内容でした。

リーズナブルに本物の舞妓さんをゆっくり鑑賞できます

祇園東の叶久さんと言う舞妓さんが来てくれたのですが、とっても可愛らしくてお人形さんのようでした。

会場は畳敷きで靴を脱いであがります。4人がけのテーブルが8列ほど並んでいて、前からSS、S2、S3、A席の範囲がきまっています。お客さんが少なくて前方が空いていたため、当日追加料金を払って前に詰めて座る事ができました。

舞妓さんが登場すると、まずは舞を1曲披露してくれます。次はQ &Aのコーナーで色々と質問に舞妓さんが答えてくれます。
その後、舞妓さんとツーショットやグループで写真を撮ってもらえます。
そして、お座敷遊びを何人かチャレンジさせてもらえます。

お食事は仕出屋さんのものと言う事で、思ったよりも美味しかったですが、舞妓さんが登場した後は、ゆっくり食べられないので、出来るだけ舞妓さん登場前に食べてしまった方がよいかもしれません。

会場の後ろの席はだいぶ舞妓さんから遠いので、せっかくの機会ですので、なるべく前の席を選んだ方がよいと思います。

内容も盛りだくさんで、舞妓さんをゆっくり見ることが出来て、写真や動画も沢山撮る事が出来て、大満足でした。

お座敷遊びを気軽に体験できました！

舞妓さん、芸妓さんとのお座敷遊びは興味はあれど、やはり一見さんお断りのハードルは高く。
最近は、体験プランみたいのが増えて、思った以上に手軽に楽しく舞妓さんと、お座敷遊びのさわりが体験できました

席はＳ２のちょっといい席を追加料金で予約
偶々ＳＳ席の方がいなかったので、よく見える席でした

食事も有名な仕出し屋さんのもので、（冷めていたのは仕方ないですが）美味しかったです。

質問コーナーや遊び体験（私の時はこんぴらふねふねでした）の間にご飯を食べる感じ。

飲み物は最初に注文もでき、ソフトドリンクなら300円程度、日本酒なら、舞妓さんのお酌が付くそうです。

唯一、難があるとすれば、仕出しや飲み物の準備が舞台側（正面）からでてくるので、踊りや質問の間にスタッフさんがチラホラ出入りするのが気になったことくらい。

舞妓さんのかんざしが毎月変わること、衣装の特徴、一年目と二年目以降の舞妓さんの装いの違いなど、色々質問も出来ました。

舞妓さんにおねえはん、と呼ばれて写真一緒に撮ったり、遊んだりは、中々こそばゆい体験で、楽しかったです。

私は2人で参加でしたが、1人で参加する方も何組かいました。

10分位前に会場に入場できます。
それまでは階段で並んで待ちます。

座席の前の方から追加の値段で座ることが出来ます。
後方の席でも十分に観覧できますが
かぶり席からなら写メやビデオを撮るのに適しています。

今回はシステム上の問題が少しありましたが丁寧に対応してくださるスタッフの方がおられてツアーに参加することが出来ました。
（その方がグループの知り合いの方だったので驚きました！）

内容・食事から考え非常に良心的なツアーです。

お値段を考えると非常にお得なツアーに思えました。

お食事は仕出し屋さんからのものでしたが、男性でもボリューム的には満足のいくものでした。偶然にも一緒に行かれていた方が昔とられておた仕出し屋さんの物で驚かれていました。

また京都案内の機会があれば参加したいと思います。

Kyoto Private Maiko Entertainment with Tea Ceremony & Photo Op

We had a wonderful time as a family watching the tea ceremony. It was very interesting and lovely to be able to ask loads of questions. My only criticism is we couldn’t find the venue without the help of locals but that too added to the experience.

TAKAKEN舞妓さんにドキドキ

TAKAKENです。
約50分と短い時間でしたが、お手前体験では、舞妓さんがわざわざ前に来て教えて頂き、こんなに近くで舞妓さんを観れるなんてビックリ。又、舞妓さんのとても優雅でしなやかな舞が2曲も楽しめ、御座敷遊びの金比羅では、流石舞妓さんが全勝で、簡単なゲームでしたが経験する事が出来、おまけに舞妓さんと2ショトの写真撮影が出来た事が良かったです。盛り沢山の貴重な体験をさせて頂き有り難う御座いました。

良いアクティビティだと思うが改善が必要

舞妓さんとディナーの料理は良かったのですが、運営側のホスピタリティに欠けていたので、結構気になりました。

◆舞台が見にくい
座って見る状態なので、一番安い席はかなり見えないと思います。床に座った状態でないので、視野がとても限定されます。ただ、一番安い席を購入したのにも関わらず、運営がオーバーブッキングしたため一つ上の席になってなんとか見れて良かったです。これが無ければ☆２をつけていたと思います。

◆舞妓さんの演目の横をスタッフが通り過ぎ
舞妓さんの舞台が狭く、その隣が厨房であり、舞妓さんが演目をしている横でお酒を取りに行くスタッフが横で動いていて目につき、とても気になりました。厨房自体には仕切りがありましたが、その仕切りを工夫すればわざわざ舞妓さんの横を通らずに済むのに、残念でした。

◆質問時間が盛り上がらないどころか失礼
舞妓さんの演目の後に、舞妓さんの説明がないまま質問コーナーを入ってしまうため、何を質問していいか困ってしまい、私やツアーガイドが気を使って質問しているような状態でした。
また、外国人の出身を聞く際、ウェールズから来た人に対して、舞妓さんが「何処？」って答えてしまったり、司会が「舞妓さんはウェールズは知らないけどスコットランドは知ってました」というフォローする相手も内容も意味不明なことを言っていて、せっかく日本に来たのにおもてなしできてなくて、日本人としてちょっと悲しい気分になりました。

お食事もお酒も美味しく、何と言っても舞妓さんの美しかったこと！
まるで日本人形の様に美しく、舞も所作も優雅でずっと憧れの眼差しで拝見していました。
お座敷遊びも大変楽しかったです。

90分のあいだに、色々な体験が凝縮されていてとても楽しかったです。
舞妓さんの舞を見たり、お座敷遊びを体験したりということは、お茶屋さんでもなければできないと思っていたので、こんな風に気軽にお手頃な値段で体験できるということが初心者にはとても嬉しかったです。
また、舞妓さんに直接質問をすることができ、舞妓さんの生活や花街の決まりごとなどについて詳しく聞くことができました。
お料理も、少々冷めてしまってはいましたが、美味しかったです。

Kyoto Maiko Makeover and Samurai Dress-up Experience with Optional Stroll Plan

Overall, our Maiko Makeover was truly unique, very special and simply unforgettable. The makeover was transformational and the end result was exceptional.

When visiting foreign countries, we always like to dress up, whenever possible, to experience traditions of the past. In the case of our Maiko Makeover, we got to experience a tradition of both past and present as this is a tradition that continues to be practiced.

Advice for future participants:

1. Come wearing a normal bra and not a racerback or criscrossback bra. The reason for this is that your neck and upper back will be painted with the same white makeup as your face. If you are wearing a racerback or crisscross bra, you will have to lose the bra altogether. If you are top heavy, especially, you will want the support of your bra because wearing a traditional kimono has its tricks and you won’t want your breast to get in the way nor will you want them to be squeezed during the wardrobe part of your makeover.

2. Bring your own white tabi socks (traditional Japanese socks worn with thonged footwear). If you don’t, you can buy some there. But bringing your own can save you time and money.

Kyoto Gion Geisha District Evening Walking Tour with English-Speaking Guide

It was awesome! Our guide, Mia, was really funny. I didn’t expect the tour to be so hilarious which was a nice surprise. Definitely would recommend to do this, it is quite cheap for the amount of time you walk around and the facts are really interesting!

Kyoto Maiko Entertainment with All-You-Can-Drink Full Course Dinner & Photo Op

If you're in Kyoto this is a MUST DO experience

Our recent Japan trip highlight was the dinner evening with a maiko in Gion District in Kyoto organised through Veltra.

She was gracious and charming beyond belief and we felt so personally touched to have the privilege of spending time with her. The food was amazing, the drinks free flowing and plentiful, and the staff were exceptional in their hospitality and genuine care for the guests.

If you're worried about sitting on the tatame for dinner, don't. I have a pretty poor back and had no issues at all. They give you a chair back on the floor that you sit on and lean against, and you can stretch your legs under the table, so it's pretty comfortable.

It was a very small group of 7 so it felt very intimate and personal. I cannot recommend this experience any higher, it was exceptional to spend one-on-one time with such a beautiful person who embodies everything that is great about traditional Japan.

Our tea ceremony with the Maiko was truly one of our favorite things that we did in Japan. She was truly mesmerizing, fascinating, welcoming and so very kind. She was engaging us in really wonderful conversation and gave us such a wonderful glimpse into her life and the hard work it takes to become a Maiko and Geiko. I highly recommend this service and would definitely go back next time I’m in Kyoto. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and memorable experience.

This was a wonderful experience that allowed my partner and I to see and do three of the things we had on our Kyoto bucket list: Enjoy a tradition Japanese meal, watch a beautiful Maiko perform, and so see the stellar night views of Kyoto! Make sure you bring your camera, as you will want to capture all the beauty of the night! I brought my polaroid and it was a big hit among other guest and the Maiko-san herself! Highly recommend taking this tour!

Kyoto Gion Geisha District Evening Walking Tour with English-Speaking Guide

We enjoyed the night walk in the Gion District! Our guide was very informative and funny. She explained the difference between a Maiko and a Geiko Geshi girls, we even saw a few going to a party! I would highly recommend this tour, it was a very enjoyable evening out. Well worth it.

１人での参加でしたがお食事もお酒も美味しく、何と言っても舞妓さんの美しさに見とれてしまい、大変素敵な時間を過ごせました。
舞妓さんの踊りも素晴らしく、お話も出来、お座敷遊びも体験出来てこのお値段は大変リーズナブルです。
このアクティビティーを是非紹介したいと思いました。
大感激でした。

大満足の企画でした。
ｓ席にしたので最前列で舞妓さんの踊りを見ることもできました。
舞妓さんの生活のお話も興味深かったです。
お友達にも薦めたい企画です。

Kyoto Maiko Entertainment with All-You-Can-Drink Full Course Dinner & Photo Op

Always amazing !

I’ve tried dinners with Maiko experiences before but this is the best. And now it’s been my 4th time visiting. Service food people atmosphere are all excellent. Be ready to sit on a tatami mat style or request a small stool.

This was a truly magical experience and we would highly recommend thia for anybody visiting Kyoto. The resort was beautiful, the drive was smooth and informative and the Maiko show was out of this world. This is a must to experience the wonderful art of the Maiko.

La performance est de deux chansons, c'est magnifique. Ensuite nous avons beaucoup de temps pour poser toutes les questions à la Maiko.

Je recommande cette activité à tout ceux qui veulent en savoir plus sur les Maiko et Geiko

Kotsuru était gentille et magnifique. Le staff parle anglais et nous avons été bien accueilli dans cette activité intime

リーズナブルな価格で楽しめて良かったです☆
小部屋も魅力ですけど高いから。
団体でそれなりのコースが付いて時間も決まってるのでスケジュールしやすい。
