Siri means “earth” in the language of the Ainu.
Enjoy a wealth of activities that let you experience nature up close in the Lake Toya area. Activity courses that you can enjoy at Lake Toya are provided at the information counter.

Nordic walking was originally a summer training regime for cross country skiers. You moves the upper body thoroughly, so it is said to be 120% more effective than regulart walking. Every step you take becomes a full body exercise which includes the core and of course your heart and lungs!
