Please gather at Uegura Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal by 7:45 a.m.
On August 23-24, the itinerary will be as follows:
Ishigaki Port (09:30) → Iriomote Island → Yubu Island → Taketomi Port (15:10) → Free Time → Return to Ishigaki Port.
*Guests can freely choose their return ferry from Taketomi Port at 16:00 or 17:00 (last ferry)
Experience a unique cruise along Nakama River, home to Japan's largest mangrove forest area. Guests can observe rare species such as Mayapsiki and Ohirugi up close, offering a break from the usual scenery. Please note, due to time constraints, the tour will not visit the Sakishimasuou tree.
Enjoy a guided bus tour of Iriomote Island, led by an experienced driver. View the island's landscapes from the bus, learn about local wildlife and island life, and possibly spot crested eagles or wild boars along the way.
Cross shallow waters to Yubu Island in a traditional water buffalo cart. The water depth is only about 1 meter, making for a gentle and scenic journey to the island known as a subtropical botanical paradise.

After disembarking at Taketomi Port, guests have free time to explore the island. Taketomi is known for its traditional Ryukyu red-tiled roofs, coral stone walls, and white sandy paths. Enjoy the preserved landscapes and leisurely stroll around the island at your own pace.

- The walk from Taketomi Port to the village is about 1.3 km uphill, taking approximately 20 minutes.
- Local buses, water buffalo cart tours, and bicycle rentals may be crowded, and availability is not guaranteed.
Guests can choose their return ferry from Taketomi Port at 15:10, 16:00, or 17:00. Those using the 17:00 ferry will have approximately 170 minutes of free time on the island.

There is a 1.3km uphill road from Taketomi Port to the village, which takes about 20 minutes on foot.
The circulating buses, water buffalo cart tours, and rental bicycles on Taketomi Island may be crowded, and you may not be able to use them even if you apply on-site.
On days with strong summer sunlight, we recommend UV protection such as parasols. - We are unable to accommodate changes to the tour to include sightseeing on Taketomi Island on the day of the tour.
