    After hiking this trail years ago and taking the van trip this time (2023), I would never choose another way to go other than the van ride. Pleasant driver and informative. Felt safe.

    The six if us had a great time with Drew who kept us entertained while ensuring we understood the historical and cultural importance of many of the sites we visited. The dad jokes were appreciated over the course of the day travelling from Kona to Hilo and points in-between. The consensus highlight was the swim in the waterfall pool. Even the weather cooperated. Fabulous day! Mahalo Drew!

    Having been to a few islands and done various activities, the Kaneohe Sandbar was a unique experience. Standing in the bay very far from shore, being able to look at the windward coast while SUP'ing and snorkeling and generally hanging out was so memorable. On top of that, the guides were so great and friendly, the donut and tang tasty treats and music from live performers was an unreal touch. ...more

    It was so nice we did not have to be there first to get a good seat. They were pre assigned and we were led to them by a very friendly staff member. We thought we would be the only ones there with a baby but there were other families with young children. Baby made to feel welcome. The food had a great variation with possible allergens noted at dish. Very thoughtful as my daughter can not eat dairy...more

    This was great afternoon We were a picked up from our accommodation and bought the full packages There was a party atmosphere with the band playing on the boat on the way there and back. The staff were friendly, helpful and relaxed but still professional The activities were good fun. Great afternoon, Hightly recommend.

    We really enjoyed ourselves. Our hosts Yoshiko and Yoshiichiro made us very welcome and our tea cups we mended will take pride of place in our homes. We will recommend this workshop to everyone we know who is going to Japan.
