    The Wailua River cruise to the fern grotto was perfect. It was a little wet the day we went, but the boat was covered and we were kept dry. The entertainment was amazing and we learned a lot about the fern grotto. The short hike was easy and we saw lots of ginger blossoms. This was a great family activity!

    It was almost magical, definitely a fun tour to a place you cannot go on your own. Waipoi valley is like going to a hidden paradise that only a few outsiders get to visit and I feel envigorated that I was one of them.     I had a wonderful time at the one-day intro kintsugi class. In the class, we learned the basics of repairing a chip in a teacup and decorating it with gold lacquer and powder. The instructors Yoshiko-sensei and Yoshiichiro-sensei are amazingly talented and kind.     We had such a great time. Getting to rope swing into the pool was such fun. That in particular was my favorite part, but the whole trip was such a great way to experience the natural beauty of Hawaii. Getting towed back at the end was a really nice touch, too.     This tour is impressive. We two adults and one kid (5 years old) really enjoyed the tour. There are roughly 3 hours from leaving and back to the wharf, including the round trips (20 minutes), preparation and cleaning (20 minutes), and the total number at Sand bar for playing is about 2 hours 20 minutes, which is enough for playing kayak, paddle board, snookering, volleyball, and relaxing.     Our instructor was very knowledgeable about the history of and how to make plastic food. He stayed with us for the entire time, letting us do all the different steps while lending a helping hand to keep us on track.     Right from when we entered the location we were welcomed warmly - the instructor stayed with us for the entire experience, showing us how to execute each step and maintain a detailed realistic look throughout.     We had great time at sandbar playing volleyball. Food was good. First time snorkeling but the whole crew was amazing and helped us. We saw lot of fishes, manta ray, turtles. Highly recommend!!
