初めての富士山
投稿者: すみれ, 2024/05/26少人数（外国籍のかた5人と私たち夫婦）で観光バスではなく、ワンボックスカーでのツアーでした。添乗員のかたも親切で現地の案内をして下さいました。
朝から曇りで富士山が見えるのか心配でしたが、富士山頂や南アルプス・北アルプスまできれいに見え、最高でした。河口湖ではケーブルカーや遊覧船など自由に散策できました。
虎ノ門バスターミナルにベルトラの名前があれば乗車場所がもっとわかりやすいと思いました。

Creative Experience with lovely instructors
投稿者: Linda, 2024/05/11Yoshiko and Yoshiichiro are wonderful instructors who we‘re very welcoming. They helped us step through step to repair our little bowls and cups. Yoshikos english is very Good and we were only Four people in total, which was Perfect and relaxing. They perfectly packed our finished goods so we could easily Transport them back to our Home Country. Also we got a Shopping List for all the stuff you need to do Kintsugi at Home, which was very practical at the Store. I highly recommend taking the class here! Thank you so much!

GW中なので高速道路は大渋滞ですが、それを忘れてしまうほど美しい景色を堪能しました。
参加者は、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、オーストラリア、アジアとバラエティに富んでいて、海外旅行をしている気分も楽しめました。
ガイドさんもドライバーさんも素敵な方でした。

Calm and welcoming introduction to Kintsugi
投稿者: Connie, 2024/04/26This was the most calming and grounding experience, a total contradiction to a typical day in Tokyo. Yoshiko and Yoshiichiro welcome you into the small street facing studio with home made cake, local treats and freshly brewed tea. Occasionally there is the odd call out from their cat that makes the experience so homely and real that you know you are getting a legitimate immersion into a part of Japanese art and culture.
The class is hands on and Yoshiko makes sure you leave with all the tools you need to keep practicing after you leave the class. She also gives you insights into Japanese culture that are inaccessible to the average visitor.
If you are someone who likes to get under the skin of a city or country, and you like to get off the tourist track to truly start to get your foot into the door of what a culture is about, this is the class for you.

You're in a small place in the suburbs of Tokyo, surrounded by local folks going about their day - and you will learn the subtle art of Kintsugi while sharing stories of life. The owners could not be kinder and more generous and I appreciated so much how easy they made it to understand what to do. 親日の外国の方々と

台湾、マレーシア、シンガポール、オーストラリアの方々と異文化交流ができ良かった。
お抹茶体験を説明できてよかった。富士山は雲がかかって見えなかったが、山中湖畔で、写真が撮れたのでよかった。
全体的には、70パーセントの満足。
朝の集合場所が、色々なツアーバスが次々と来て、迷ったので、もう少し分かりやすい目につきやすい看板などあると良かったと思う。

私以外外国の方でした。

A delightful and novel experience
投稿者: Carolyn Dodd, 2024/02/13We were given this Kintsugi Tryout class by our children as a Xmas present. And what a delightful and fun experience it was!
The tiny workshop, filled with examples of kintsugi to provide inspiration, was only just big enough for us both, two other more experienced Japanese students, and our two wonderful teachers Mr and Mrs Kuge. The latter is a force of nature who provided home made lemon cake, endless tea, written and spoken stories about kintsugi in English, and a shopping list to encourage us to pursue our new hobby. The combination with Mr Kuge's quiet expertise provided an atmosphere where we felt free to relax and be creative. We loved every minute of our class and can't wait to see what our tea cups look like after their 2 weeks drying out period.

Excellent workshop and experience!
投稿者: Tina , 2024/01/25Kuge Craft provided a detail direction to their workshop, about 8 mins walk from their workshop. It is a cosy place with plenty of artworks and books references.
The experience is amazing. We were greeted by a lovely snack (delicious homemade cake, crackers and earl grey) with English notes and material list for kintsugi. They break it down step by step making it very easy to follow. Along the way, they would also provide extra information before we even know what questions to ask.
They are such a lovely couple, we hope to get to join their workshop again when we are in Tokyo!

メキシコから来た方と携帯で検索しながらコミニケーション取って
とても良い経験と素敵な東京の夜景も満喫しました♪

Fantastic
投稿者: Erica, 2023/12/02I had a wonderful time at the one-day intro kintsugi class. In the class, we learned the basics of repairing a chip in a teacup and decorating it with gold lacquer and powder.
The instructors Yoshiko-sensei and Yoshiichiro-sensei are amazingly talented and kind. I brought in a broken plate that I wanted to repair, I thought it would be easy to fix because it had broken cleanly, but it was a lot more complex than I had imagined. Yoshiichiro-sensei and Yoshiko-sensei reassembled it for me, which involved the construction of some impromptu armature to prop up the pieces correctly since the broken pieces do not lie flat, as well as some intricate filing work. I got to paint the lacquer and metallic powder.
The workshop is stacked high with kintsugi treasures, and they also have a pottery studio next door.
They packed up my teacup and my plate really carefully for me to take home. After two weeks of curing, I can wash off the extra powder and see the results. I can't wait!!
If you've seen documentaries or read about about kintsugi or lacquerware, you may know that lacquer from lacquer trees (urushi) can cause a severe reaction like poison ivy, and that it requires really precisely-controlled humidity conditions to cure properly. In this class, we used lacquer from cashew trees, which is not irritating and can cure in regular room-temperature conditions, and once it's cured, it seals the cracks just as effectively and food-safely as lacquer tree urushi.

Fabulous experience
投稿者: Sarah, 2023/11/20Yoshiichiro and Yoshiko were both wonderful hosts. We had a lovely tea and delicious Japanese snacks first and conversed with other attendees. The hosts spoke good English and one of the other students did as well which made the experience very enjoyable. I was able to choose from about 5 or 6 ancient tea cups and Yoshiko gave most of the instruction on how to mend and decorate. She had lots of examples in the shop which helped with ideas.
Perhaps the best thing about this experience was the wonderful energy exuded by the host. Just incredibly warm and gracious people.
Highly recommend!!

Very Memorable Experience

They are true masters at this craft and it was an honor to learn from them. I am grateful for the knowledge and time they shared with us. It was an experience we will always treasure. The studio was very easy to find and comfortable to be in. The instructions they provide are very thorough and they offer assistance throughout. We highly recommend this!

ベルトラさんの品質管理はどうなっているのでしょう。

新宿集合後、バスが出発しても何のアナウンスもありません。どこに行くのかどのくらい時間が掛かるのか全く分かりません。バスが到着してもどこについたのかいつ再集合かボード、アナウンス全くなく各々確認していました。英語、中国語のツアーとのことで選んだのですが各観光地の説明は全くありません。これなら日本語の普通のツアーに参加すればよかったと思いました。
東照宮ではバスの駐車場は少し離れた場所で良くみんな（ほとんどが中国人）無事に事故無く帰ってきたと思いました。
ベルトラさんの海外のツアーに参加して今回は海外の友達にいいかなと思い参加しましたががっかりです。
これはガイドさんの問題でなくベルトラさんの品質管理の問題だと思います。お客が欧米人ならその場で文句が出ていたと思いますしはぐれて帰ってこないなどの事故が起こっていたかと思います。
ツアーの品質改善に取り組んでほしいと思います。

They had tea and snacks for us prepared when we arrived and answered all of our (many) questions as the afternoon went on. It was one of our top experiences in Japan and something we will definitely do again when we are back!

とても気持ちよかったです！
投稿者: 真由, 2023/10/20海外から来た友達と効率よく東京観光をするにはバスツアーがいいなと思い、ネットで探していたら、オープンエアで1日乗り放題のこのツアーを見つけました。私達は10時5分からスタートのブルーコースに乗り、築地で降り、早めの昼食を摂り、築地本願寺を参拝、13時20分築地発で丸の内三菱ビルに戻ってきました。トイレ休憩し、次は14時5分発でレッドコースに乗り、浅草花川戸で降りました。浅草寺参拝、仲見世通りで人形焼や抹茶アイスを食べたり、東京スカイツリーやアサヒ本社屋と一緒に写真を撮りました。そして16時23分発でまた丸の内に戻りました。全て見学するには時間が足りませんが、バスの中からいろいろな観光地を見れて、友達や他の海外旅行者もとても楽しそうでした。特に東京タワーを下から眺めた時は皆さん歓声をあげていました。後日行きたくなった観光地を訪れてもいいと思います。この後私達は同じくオープンエアのナイトバスツアーに参加しました。いろいろな国の観光客とコミュニケーションもとれ、最高の1日でした！また参加したいです！

Wonderful

Meeting Yoshiko-san and Yoshiichiro-san was a real pleasure. On a wet and rainy day it was doubly appreciated to be welcomed with a hot cup of tea and a slice of delicious homemade cake.
The Kintsugi course was very hands-on and very informative. I left feeling that I had all the information necessary to do some beautiful repairs at home.
I would easily recommend this course to anyone. It is a very relaxing and educational way to spend a few hours.
