The girls at the shop were experts in transforming us with Okinawa style kimonos and hair-dos (even for my short hair). We then got two hours to walk around - exploring the market was so much fun with everyone taking photos of us. Was a bit hot wearing three kimono layers though, fans came in handy. Was absolutely worth the money, and I would recommend it to all my friends.
The shop was a bit hard to find. It was on the second floor inside one of the covered market streets (Heiwadori), across from a liquor shop. One of other shopkeepers told us showed us where it is.
