An enjoyable visit to this very special cafe which keeps a good variety of owls. Staff were professional and spoke good English. What impressed me the most was how well the animals were treated and groomed - we were briefed on a handful of rules before meeting the animals, and we were also asked to respect the owls which were resting. The cafe was also very clean. Would definitely visit again if I return to Hakata :)

- We are closed on Mondays, but open when a Monday is a national holiday, and closed on the next day instead.

*Disinfect your hands before touching the owls
*Ask our staff member to hand you the owl you wish to pet. You can put the owl on your shoulder, but it may defecate on you.
* Be sure not to release the leash, for the owl may fall or fly and be injured.
*Do not touch the owls neck, abdomen or legs, but only touch the head and back gently.
*Be sure to turn the flash off when taking photos.
*Be sure not to do anything that could injure or anger the owls. - This tour will be held only in Japanese.
